In a recent meeting held in the capital city of Aden, Minister of Defense Lieutenant General Mohsen Al-Dhaeri assessed the ongoing work of the High Military and Security Committee. He praised the committee’s efforts to organize and unify the armed forces.
During the meeting, Minister Al-Dhaeri shared insights from his field visits to military personnel stationed at various combat fronts in liberated areas. These visits aimed to evaluate the readiness and morale of the armed forces.
Al-Dhaeri emphasized the shared goal among all military components: defeating the Houthi terrorist militia. He underscored the importance of achieving a significant victory by restoring the state and liberating the capital, Sana’a, along with the entire national territory. He noted that these objectives remain a top priority for everyone involved.
The Minister listened attentively to questions and comments from committee members. He clarified the ministry’s ongoing efforts to enhance the capabilities and resilience of the armed forces at all levels.
Chairman of the committee, Major General Haitham Qassem Taher, reiterated the necessity of unifying military and security decisions among the armed forces. He commended the Minister’s proactive field initiatives aimed at achieving this goal.
This meeting reflects the commitment of Yemen’s military leadership to strengthen national security and ensure a coordinated response to ongoing challenges.
