Minister of Defense Reviews Educational Progress at Military Academy

Today, Minister of Defense, Major General Dr. Taher Al-Aqeeli, visited the Higher Military Academy in Aden, the temporary capital. During his visit, he received a detailed briefing from the academy’s leadership regarding educational and training activities. The discussions focused on enhancing the academy’s outputs to meet the needs of the armed forces for qualified leadership personnel.

Assessing Needs and Challenges

During the visit, the Minister highlighted the academy’s key requirements and the challenges facing both academic and administrative operations. Al-Aqeeli emphasized the necessity of providing essential resources to improve performance and create a conducive environment for educational and training processes.

Encouraging Academic Excellence

Al-Aqeeli urged students to prioritize academic achievement and strive for knowledge. He stressed the importance of fully utilizing the academic and training programs offered by the academy. The Minister pointed out that the armed forces require leaders with scientific qualifications and strategic planning skills, in addition to military experience, to effectively tackle various challenges.
