Today, Minister of Defense Lieutenant General Dr. Taher Al-Aqili held a significant meeting with leaders of the popular resistance from the provinces of Sana’a, Amran, and Saada. The discussion focused on the latest developments in the battlefield and strategies to enhance readiness for restoring the state.

At the beginning of the meeting, Minister Al-Aqili conveyed greetings from the political leadership, represented by President Dr. Rashad Mohammed Al-Alimi, the Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces, and members of the Presidential Leadership Council. He praised the national role of the Presidential Council member and Governor of Marib, Major General Sultan Al-Aradah, for his efforts in supporting the popular resistance since the onset of the conflict.

The Minister commended the heroic actions and significant efforts of the popular resistance in the national battle. He noted that their contributions have been crucial in confronting the Houthi terrorist militias from the very beginning.
