In a significant advancement for healthcare services, Minister of Defense Major General Mohsen Al-Daari inaugurated the Cardiology and Intensive Cardiac Care Unit at Aboud Military Hospital in Aden today. This initiative received funding from the Yemeni Economic Corporation, Aden branch.
Upon arrival, Major General Al-Daari was warmly welcomed by several officials, including Colonel Aref Al-Daari, Director of Medical Services for the Ground Forces, Dr. Rania Farhan, Director of Aboud Hospital, and Colonel Anwar Al-Amri, Director of the Yemeni Economic Corporation in Aden.
During the inauguration, the Minister praised the successful establishment of this vital medical unit, equipped with modern medical devices and technology. He expressed satisfaction with the efforts made to enhance the medical services provided by Aboud Military Hospital, emphasizing the importance of such advancements in improving healthcare for military personnel and civilians alike.
In addition to the cardiology unit, Major General Al-Daari also launched the hospital’s inpatient department, which boasts a capacity of one hundred beds. He highlighted the necessity of equipping these medical sections to elevate the quality of healthcare available to both military members and the general public.
Colonel Anwar Al-Amri confirmed that the Cardiology and Vascular Unit is now outfitted with the latest medical equipment. He also noted that work is ongoing to complete the inpatient department project in the near future, further enhancing the hospital’s capabilities.
This inauguration marks a crucial step towards improving healthcare services in Aden, reflecting a commitment to the well-being of both military personnel and the community.
