Today, Minister of Defense Lieutenant General Mohsen Al-Daari convened a significant meeting with the General Staff, various agencies, and members of the 17th batch of leadership and staff at the second hall in Marib Governorate.
The meeting featured prominent figures, including Chief of General Staff and Joint Operations Commander Lieutenant General Sagheer Bin Aziz, and Inspector General of the Armed Forces Major General Adel Al-Qumairi. During the session, Al-Daari conveyed greetings from the highest political and military leadership.
Minister Al-Daari emphasized that his field visits to combat zones and military regions aim to mobilize efforts and resources against the Houthi militia. He stated, “The Houthi militia has inflicted suffering on the people, committing various crimes and violating all norms.” He further noted that the militia’s coup has devastated the state, its institutions, and infrastructure, pushing the Yemeni people back decades.
The Minister highlighted the role of military academies and colleges in providing high-quality academic and scientific training. This training aims to enhance the capabilities of the brave armed forces. He praised the dedication of the staff college members who come from the frontlines to gain further knowledge and academic qualifications.
Al-Daari also remarked on the high morale and readiness he observed during his visits to the front lines. He pointed out the unified goal of ending the Iranian-backed Houthi coup and restoring state institutions, including the capital, Sana’a.
This meeting underscores the commitment of Yemen’s military leadership to strengthen the armed forces and prepare for decisive action against the Houthi threat. The focus on education and morale reflects a strategic approach to reclaiming stability and security in Yemen.
