The leadership of the Joint Forces of the Coalition to Support Legitimacy in Yemen confirmed that it will respond decisively to the terrorist attack on King Khalid International Airport. This response will align with international humanitarian law and its customary rules.
The official spokesperson for the coalition forces, Major General Turki Al-Maliki, issued a statement on his official account on the platform X. He described the cowardly terrorist attack carried out by the Houthi militia on Saturday, targeting one of the passenger terminals at King Khalid International Airport in Riyadh. The attack resulted in fatalities and injuries among civilians, including travelers and airport staff. Al-Maliki characterized this act as a complete war crime under international humanitarian law and its customary rules, labeling it a heinous act that contradicts principles, values, and ethics.
