On Sunday, the Chief of General Staff and Commander of Joint Operations, Lieutenant General Saghir Hamoud bin Aziz, attended the Global Defense Exhibition 2026 in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
During the event, Lieutenant General bin Aziz, alongside several military leaders including Major General Hadi Al-Aulqi, Commander of the Eighth Military Region, Major General Salem Kida, Commander of the Al-Ghaydah Axis, and Brigadier General Abdullah Al-Furji, Commander of the 19th Brigade, explored the latest innovations and advanced technologies in defense and security industries. They also engaged with global military leaders, official delegations, and specialized experts. This gathering aimed to shape the future of the defense and security sector while enhancing opportunities for international cooperation and partnerships.
The Chief of General Staff praised the professional organization of the exhibition. He emphasized that this global event highlights Saudi Arabia’s leadership role in promoting regional and international security and stability.
