Highlighting Human Rights Violations
The President underscored the necessity of maintaining local, regional, and international attention on the Houthi militias’ actions. He pointed out the severe human rights violations perpetrated by these groups, including campaigns of repression, torture, and abduction targeting numerous activists and employees of the United Nations and humanitarian organizations in Yemen.
Attendees of the Meeting
The meeting also included the Permanent Representative of Yemen to the United Nations, Abdullah Al-Saadi, and Yemen’s Ambassador to the United States, Mohammed Al-Hadhrami.
