President Dr. Rashad Mohammed Alimi, head of the Presidential Leadership Council, has expressed strong appreciation for the United Kingdom’s announcement of a new support package for the Yemeni Coast Guard. In a post on the social media platform X, President Alimi conveyed his gratitude on behalf of the Council members, the government, and the Yemeni people. Furthermore, he noted that the announcement coincided with the generous sponsorship from Her Royal Highness Princess Sophie and the United Nations for a roundtable discussion with Yemeni women focused on peace and security.
