The Chairman of the Leadership Council commends the high readiness of the armed forces and all military formations.

President Alimi Engages in Key Military Update Call

On Friday, President Dr. Rashad Mohammed Alimi, the head of the Presidential Leadership Council and Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces, conducted a significant phone call with Defense Minister Lieutenant General Mohsen Al-Dhaeri and Chief of General Staff Lieutenant General Sagheer bin Aziz. The discussion focused on military developments and combat readiness in light of the Presidential Leadership Council’s decision to unify fronts in the joint operational theater.

Recognition of Armed Forces’ Sacrifices

During the call, President Alimi expressed his profound pride and appreciation for the immense sacrifices made by the heroes of the armed forces across all military formations. He acknowledged their legendary resilience in defending the interests of the Yemeni people and the republican system.

Operational Briefing on Military Readiness

President Alimi received a briefing from the Defense Minister and Chief of General Staff regarding the current situation in the operational theater. He sought reassurance about the conditions of the armed forces and their high readiness to confront the Houthi militias and their aggressive actions. The President emphasized the importance of advancing the battle to restore state institutions and end the coup.

Commendation for Combat Preparedness

The President praised the high combat readiness demonstrated by the armed forces and all military formations in deterring attacks from the Iranian-backed Houthi militias. He commended their bravery in defending the republican system, dignity, and honor in all fields of valor and sacrifice.

Call for Vigilance and Coordination

President Alimi urged the armed forces to maintain heightened vigilance and to respond decisively to the Houthi militias’ schemes and the terrorist organizations that collaborate with them. He stressed the need to enhance coordination and communication among all military and security units, as well as resistance groups throughout the nation.

Commitment to National Liberation

The President reaffirmed that the Yemeni people’s battle against the imamate project is a struggle for destiny. He declared that this fight will not conclude until the complete liberation of national territory is achieved and the values of the republic, partnership, and equal citizenship are upheld.

This call underscores the ongoing commitment of the Yemeni leadership to strengthen military readiness and unity in the face of ongoing challenges.
