The armed forces seized control of strategic hills overlooking Mount Al-Mansoura in the Al-Waziya district of Taiz Governorate on Tuesday. This achievement followed intense battles against the Iranian-backed Houthi terrorist militias.
The National Shield Forces confirmed their control over the strategic hills via a post on their X platform account. They reported a mass retreat of Houthi militants during the extensive military operation aimed at liberating the Al-Waziya district, part of the “Dawn of Yemen” operations.
The National Shield Forces previously announced the launch of a wide-ranging military operation to liberate Al-Waziya district in Taiz Governorate. This initiative forms part of the broader “Dawn of Yemen” campaign, which seeks to restore state institutions, end the Houthi coup, and establish security and stability in the region.
