Taiz, Yemen – Today, Major General Abdulaziz Al-Majidi, the Chief of Staff of the Taiz Axis, visited frontline fighters stationed in the 22nd Mika Brigade sector, located to the east and north of Taiz city. This visit is part of the holiday inspections carried out by military leadership to assess combat readiness and understand the conditions of the fighters in their operational positions.
Accompanied by Brigadier General Mansour Al-Hassani, the Chief of Staff of the Brigade, along with various battalion leaders, Major General Al-Majidi inspected several military sites on the northern and eastern fronts of the city. During this visit, he exchanged holiday greetings with the fighters, conveying best wishes from the political and military leadership, including President Dr. Rashad Mohammed Al-Alimi, Minister of Defense Lieutenant General Taher Al-Aqeeli, and Chief of General Staff Lieutenant General Sagheer Bin Aziz.
Major General Al-Majidi praised the high morale and determination exhibited by the fighters in their ongoing battle against the Houthi terrorist militias. He emphasized the importance of vigilance, caution, and readiness for any emergencies. Acknowledging their vital role in protecting citizens and maintaining security during the holiday season, this visit underscores the military leadership’s unwavering support for its fighters on the frontlines, aiming to enhance their morale.
In response, the fighters expressed their gratitude for the leadership’s visit, reaffirming their commitment to remain steadfast in their positions. They reiterated their readiness to continue the struggle until all Yemeni territory is liberated from the Iranian-backed Houthi militias. This visit reflects the military leadership’s dedication to safeguarding the homeland and supporting its fighters across various fronts.
