According to the network’s statement, Al-Rimi worked on a qat farm and was arrested a week ago on theft charges. Following his detention, the militia claimed he “committed suicide by hanging.” They urged for his swift burial and closure of the case. However, Al-Rimi’s family rejected this narrative, demanding an independent investigation. They assert that he endured physical abuse and electric shocks, evident from the torture marks on his body.
