Celebration of Yemen’s Revolutionary Holidays in Marib
The Oil Facilities Protection Sector in Marib held a festive event to commemorate Yemen’s significant revolutionary holidays: September 26, October 14, and November 30. The gathering attracted a notable presence of officials and military personnel, reflecting a deep appreciation for the sacrifices made by the brave revolutionaries.
Honoring Historical Transformations
During the event, Brigadier General Tawfiq Obaid, Assistant Commander of the Third Military Region for Moral and Political Guidance, congratulated the officers and personnel of the sector on the 63rd anniversary of the September Revolution and the 62nd anniversary of the October Revolution. He emphasized that these occasions mark a historic turning point that ended eras of tyranny and colonialism, establishing values of freedom, justice, and equal citizenship.

Brigadier General Obaid highlighted that celebrating these national events serves as a renewed opportunity to draw lessons from sacrifice and dedication. He urged attendees to embody the principles of the revolution and the republic in their roles of honor and valor.

In his remarks, Brigadier General Saleem Al-Siyaghi, Commander of the 107th Infantry Brigade and Head of the Oil Facilities Protection Sector, reaffirmed the sector’s commitment to honoring the sacrifices of revolutionaries. He stated that the event symbolizes the readiness of personnel to protect vital facilities and safeguard national achievements. Furthermore, he emphasized their determination to counter the attempts of Houthi militias to undermine the principles of the revolution and the republic.
