On Thursday, surveillance cameras captured Israeli settlers stealing a flock of sheep in the Masafer Yatta area, south of Hebron. This incident marks yet another chapter in the escalating series of violations targeting Palestinian residents and their property in the West Bank.
The recorded footage shows several settlers infiltrating a Palestinian family’s home early in the morning. They broke into the livestock pen and cut the locks. According to local resident Mohammed Abu Ali, the settlers managed to steal between 45 and 50 sheep, along with several dogs that were present at the site.
Abu Ali emphasized that these sheep represent the family’s livelihood. He noted a significant increase in such attacks since the onset of the war in Gaza. “For the past two and a half years, settlers have been attacking us almost daily… Their goal is to displace us from this land,” he stated.
