Police Training Center Marks Graduation of New Facilities Security Police Cohort

Police Training Center Celebrates Graduation in Marib

The General Police Training Center, part of the Ministry of Interior in Marib, proudly celebrated the graduation of a new cohort of recruits from the Facilities and VIP Protection Police. This significant occasion coincided with the 36th anniversary of the establishment of the Yemeni Republic on May 22, 1990.

Showcasing Skills and Commitment

During the graduation ceremony, the new recruits showcased practical demonstrations that highlighted the extensive skills they had developed throughout their training. The event was attended by Major General Khaled Al-Sabahi, the Director of the Training Center, along with several prominent figures in the security sector. The graduates’ demonstrations exemplified their capabilities in security protocols and VIP protection, reflecting the center’s dedication to preparing highly skilled security personnel for the challenges ahead.

Strengthening Security Forces for Stability

Major Tahr Masoud, the Deputy Director of the Training Center, commented that this graduation aligns with the Ministry of Interior’s strategic goals aimed at enhancing the operational efficiency of its personnel. He emphasized that these efforts are crucial in confronting escalating security challenges and establishing stability in liberated provinces. This initiative highlights the ministry’s commitment to developing internal security forces that can effectively manage crises and maintain public safety.

Colonel Mohsen Shateef, the Director of Al-Jawf Police, also addressed the graduates, commending the center’s role in training future security professionals. He encouraged the new officers to apply the skills they acquired during training in real-world situations. Colonel Shateef stressed the importance of maintaining professional and ethical standards in their duties, underscoring their essential role in fostering security and peace within the community.
