On the second day of Tashreeq, pilgrims continue to perform the ritual of stoning the Jamarat.

Pilgrims Continue Spiritual Journey in Mina

Pilgrims are currently engaged in their sacred rituals at Mina, experiencing a deeply spiritual atmosphere. On Sunday, they successfully completed the stoning of the three pillars, known as Jamrat, during the second day of Tashreeq. This process unfolded smoothly and safely, thanks to well-planned strategies aimed at facilitating the movement of pilgrims while ensuring their utmost protection and care during this significant rite.

Departure of Urgent Pilgrims

Following the noon prayer on Sunday, the 12th of Dhul-Hijjah, urgent pilgrims began their departure from Mina after performing the stoning ritual. They started with the smallest pillar, followed by the middle, and finally the largest, casting seven pebbles at each. After completing this essential act, they headed to the Grand Mosque in Mecca to perform the Farewell Tawaf, marking the conclusion of their pilgrimage. The majority of pilgrims will finalize their rituals on Monday, coinciding with the third day of Tashreeq and the fourth day of Eid al-Adha.

Security Measures in Place

Lieutenant General Abdullah Al-Quraish, the head of Hajj security forces, confirmed that all necessary human, mechanical, and technical resources have been mobilized to ensure the safety of the guests of Allah. He emphasized that the security forces are fully prepared to facilitate a smooth and secure pilgrimage experience, allowing pilgrims to return to their families safely.

Call for Compliance

General Al-Quraish urged pilgrims to adhere to the designated schedules for stoning the pillars. He advised against carrying luggage to the Jamrat area or the Grand Mosque and encouraged maintaining calm and composure while performing the stoning and Tawaf. He also highlighted the importance of following security instructions on the roads and at the entrances to both the Jamrat area and the Grand Mosque.

Preparations in Medina

Meanwhile, government agencies in Medina have completed their preparations to welcome the first groups of urgent pilgrims arriving on Sunday evening, the 12th of Dhul-Hijjah. These pilgrims will arrive via buses and the Haramain High-Speed Train after completing their rituals. To facilitate their entry into the Prophet’s Mosque, various guidance and organizational services will be available, aligned with pre-booked schedules through approved applications and the venue’s capacity.

This year’s Hajj season showcases the commitment of authorities to ensure a safe and fulfilling experience for all pilgrims, reinforcing the significance of this spiritual journey.
