OIC strongly condemns the massacre by Israeli forces in Gaza.

Islamic Cooperation Organization Condemns War Crimes in Gaza

Ongoing Violations in Gaza Prompt International Outcry

The Islamic Cooperation Organization (ICO) has vehemently condemned the continuing war crimes committed by the Israeli occupation forces in the Gaza Strip. The latest atrocity involved a brutal massacre resulting from the targeting of displaced persons’ tents in Khan Younis, located in the southern part of the Gaza Strip. This attack led to the death and injury of dozens of Palestinian civilians, marking a flagrant violation of international humanitarian law, United Nations Security Council resolutions, and related orders from the International Court of Justice.

International Community’s Failure to Act

The ICO highlighted the international community’s failure to fulfill its responsibilities in enforcing justice, international law, and the resolutions of international legitimacy. This failure has contributed to reinforcing a culture of impunity for the Israeli occupation, exacerbating the humanitarian suffering in the Gaza Strip. The organization is calling on the United Nations Security Council to assume its responsibilities by imposing an immediate and comprehensive ceasefire and taking decisive measures to end the Israeli occupation regime and its illegal colonial settlement policy in the occupied Palestinian territories.

Urgent Call for Action

In light of these events, the ICO’s condemnation serves as a stark reminder of the ongoing crisis in Gaza and the urgent need for international intervention to halt further violations and support the Palestinian people’s rights. The call for action underscores the importance of international solidarity and the need to uphold principles of justice and human rights for all.
