In a significant move to showcase Yemen’s rich cultural heritage and economic potential on the global stage, the Ministry of Industry and Trade, operating from the temporary capital, Aden, has inked a pivotal contract with A’ali Exhibition Services Company. This agreement, signed today, is aimed at organizing Yemen’s participation in the highly anticipated Expo 2025 Osaka, set to take place from April 13 to October 13, 2025, in Japan, with broad international participation.

The contract was officially signed by Rashid Hazeb, the Deputy Commissioner General for Commercial Affairs and the Ministry of Industry and Trade’s Agent for the Business Services Sector, and Jamal Al-Zarari, the Responsible Manager of A’ali Exhibition Services Company. The signing was carried out under the supervision of the General Commissioner and Minister of Industry and Trade, Mohammed Al-Ashwal.

This strategic partnership underscores the Ministry of Industry and Trade’s commitment to ensuring that Yemen’s participation in Expo 2025 Osaka is not only memorable but also significantly impactful. The ministry aims to introduce the world to Yemen’s storied history, civilization, culture, arts, fashion, crafts, and products, while also showcasing investment opportunities within the country. This initiative is designed to open new markets for the sale and marketing of national products, benefiting a wide range of citizens from farmers, producers, and traders to artists and craftsmen, thereby supporting and enhancing the national economy.
