The General Authority for Civil Aviation and Meteorology’s Weather Forecast and Early Warning Center has issued a weather forecast for Saturday, predicting mild daytime temperatures in coastal regions. Nights will be relatively cold, with partial cloud cover. Light to moderate winds will pick up around Bab al-Mandab and the western coasts.
According to the daily weather bulletin, which the Yemeni News Agency (Saba) received, the mountainous areas will face dry and cold conditions, particularly during the night and early morning. There is a possibility of fog and low clouds forming in some regions. Meanwhile, the desert and plateau areas will generally experience dry and clear weather, with moderate daytime temperatures. Nights will be cold to very cold, accompanied by light to moderate winds.

The center has reiterated its warnings to residents in high-altitude areas about low temperatures. Citizens, especially children and the elderly, should take necessary precautions. Additionally, the center cautioned drivers in mountainous regions about reduced visibility due to fog. Farmers in elevated areas should also be aware of potential impacts on their crops due to extremely low temperatures.
In its daily marine bulletin, the center forecasts that the sea conditions along the coasts of Al-Mahra and Hadramout will be calm. The coasts of Abyan, Aden, and the Socotra Archipelago will experience light to moderate waves, while the coasts of Shabwa will see moderate waves. The waters around Bab al-Mandab and the western coasts will have moderate to rough waves. The center also warns fishermen and sea-goers along the southwestern and western coasts, as well as in the Arabian Sea and the Red Sea, about rough sea conditions and active winds.
