The forecast indicates a possibility of fog and low-lying clouds in some areas, based on various weather maps, satellite images, and global numerical model outputs.
In its daily weather report, which was provided to the Yemeni News Agency (Saba), the center predicts that coastal areas will generally experience mild temperatures. However, temperatures will drop at night and in the early morning in the provinces of Al-Mahra, Hadhramaut, and eastern Shabwa. Partly cloudy skies may bring scattered rainfall to Socotra Island and the southern and southwestern coasts. Winds in these areas will range from moderate to active.
The weather in desert regions and inland plateaus will remain dry and clear overall. Daytime temperatures will be moderate, while nights will be cold to very cold. Winds in these areas will be light to moderate.
According to the weather bulletin, maximum and minimum temperatures for several provinces on Monday are as follows:
The center has warned residents in mountainous areas about the low temperatures. Citizens, especially children and the elderly, should take necessary precautions. Additionally, the center cautioned drivers in mountainous regions about reduced visibility due to fog. Farmers in high-altitude areas should also be aware of the potential impact of very low temperatures on their crops.
In its daily marine bulletin, the center forecasts that sea conditions along the coasts of Al-Mahra and the western shores will be mild to moderate. The coasts of Hadhramaut, Shabwa, Abyan, and Aden will experience moderate waves, while the Bab al-Mandab area may see moderate to rough seas. The waters around Socotra Island will also be rough. The center warns fishermen and maritime enthusiasts around Socotra and in the Arabian Sea, Red Sea, and eastern, southern, and western coasts about potential sea disturbances and active winds.
This comprehensive weather report highlights the importance of staying informed about local weather conditions and taking appropriate precautions to ensure safety and well-being.
