Today, Major General Khaled Al-Ashwal, the head of the Operations Authority, visited the brave members of the armed forces stationed at the front lines in southern Marib. This visit underscores the political and military leadership’s unwavering support for the sacrifices made by fighters defending the nation.
During his visit, Major General Al-Ashwal exchanged heartfelt holiday greetings with commanders, officers, and soldiers. He conveyed warm regards from the political and military leadership, including President Dr. Rashad Mohammed Al-Alimi, Chairman of the Presidential Leadership Council, alongside other council members, representatives from the Ministry of Defense, and the General Staff.
Major General Al-Ashwal praised the high morale exhibited by the heroic fighters, commending their sacrifices and valor in defending the nation and the republican system. He particularly acknowledged their steadfastness against the Iranian-backed Houthi militias, emphasizing that the armed forces draw strength from the will of the Yemeni people to achieve their aspirations.
Furthermore, the Major General stressed the importance of maintaining combat readiness and heightened vigilance to address any emergencies. He affirmed that the armed forces will continue to fulfill their national duties until they restore the state, put an end to the Houthi coup, and realize the Yemeni people’s aspirations for freedom, dignity, and equal citizenship. Commanders, officers, and soldiers expressed their gratitude for the Ministry of Defense’s attention and involvement in their national and religious occasions.
