On Monday, the President of Yemen’s Presidential Leadership Council, Dr. Rashad Mohammed Al-Alimi, held a meeting with the United Arab Emirates’ Ambassador to Yemen, Mohammed Hamad Al-Zaabi. The meeting focused on the bilateral relations between the two nations and the promising prospects for enhancing these ties across various sectors.

Discussions on National Developments

Dr. Al-Alimi briefed Ambassador Al-Zaabi on the latest national developments and emphasized the need for support to improve living conditions, bolster economic and service reforms, and enhance overall levels of service. The discussions aimed at identifying ways to strengthen cooperation and support Yemen’s path to recovery and development.

Praise for Bilateral Relations and UAE’s Role

The President of the Presidential Leadership Council praised the exceptional bilateral relations between the two brotherly nations and peoples. He highlighted the United Arab Emirates’ significant role within the coalition supporting legitimacy in Yemen. Furthermore, Dr. Al-Alimi commended the UAE’s economic, humanitarian, and developmental interventions aimed at alleviating the suffering of the Yemeni people. These efforts contribute towards the restoration of state institutions, stability, development, and peace in Yemen.
