King Salman Humanitarian Aid Center Signs Water Rehabilitation Agreement
The King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center has signed a collaborative agreement with a civil society organization to enhance water projects in the Haraj and Hamam areas of Al-Jawf Governorate. This initiative aims to improve access to clean water for local residents.
Key Components of the Agreement
Engineer Ahmed Al-Bayez signed the agreement, which includes several critical components. The project will establish water pumping and distribution networks, alongside two water towers with a capacity of 50 cubic meters each. Additionally, the agreement outlines the distribution of 22 extra water tanks.
Sustainable Water Solutions
The project also focuses on rehabilitating a well in the Hamam area, which will feature a solar-powered submersible pump. Furthermore, the agreement plans to construct two new desalination plants and upgrade the existing desalination facility.
Training and Capacity Building
To ensure the sustainability of these efforts, the agreement includes the establishment of three water distribution points. It also emphasizes training for technical staff, equipping them with maintenance kits. These initiatives reflect the Kingdom’s commitment to providing safe and sustainable water solutions while alleviating the hardships faced by local communities.
