National Commission Launches AI Training Program in Aden

The National Commission for Investigating Allegations of Human Rights Violations has initiated a specialized training program in the temporary capital of Aden. This program focuses on utilizing artificial intelligence and open-source resources to document human rights violations. The initiative receives support from the United Nations High Commissioner for Human Rights.

Training Program Details

The five-day training program features participation from over 65 trainees. Its primary goal is to enhance professional and technical skills in open-source investigations (OSINT). Participants will learn to employ AI tools for documentation and analysis. Additionally, the program includes training on digital security, transitional justice, and psychological support for human rights workers.

The National Commission emphasizes that this training aligns with its ongoing strategy to build the capacities of its personnel.
