In a recent statement issued by the Jordanian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Kingdom of Jordan has urged its citizens residing or currently in Lebanon to leave the country as soon as possible. This announcement comes amid growing concerns over regional stability and the safety of its nationals.
The Jordanian Foreign Ministry has strongly advised against travel to the Lebanese Republic at this time. Furthermore, it has requested that Jordanian citizens already in Lebanon make arrangements to depart Lebanese territory at their earliest convenience. The spokesperson for the Ministry, Sufian Al-Qudah, stated that this recommendation is a precautionary measure in light of potential developments in the regional situation and is aimed at ensuring the safety of Jordanian nationals.
Citizens were also advised to exercise maximum caution, adhere to instructions issued by the relevant Lebanese authorities, and to immediately register on the website of the Jordanian Embassy in Beirut.
This move reflects the Jordanian government’s commitment to the welfare of its citizens abroad, especially in regions experiencing instability or uncertainty.
