On Wednesday evening, the Taiz Governorate initiated a joint security campaign across the city’s streets and neighborhoods. This operation aims to bolster security and stability while improving readiness within official state institutions. Details of the Security Campaign

The security deployment followed a comprehensive meeting led by Interior Minister Major General Ibrahim Haidan on Tuesday. The meeting included the Director General of Taiz Police, Brigadier General Mansour Al-Akhali. During the discussions, officials emphasized the importance of increasing security readiness and enhancing coordination among security agencies and armed forces. This collaboration is crucial for ensuring the campaign’s effectiveness and achieving its objectives.

Taiz Police confirmed that the campaign operates under the supervision of Brigadier General Al-Akhali and in coordination with the Taiz Axis leadership and the National Army. The campaign focuses on regulating arms possession and reducing armed displays, which will strengthen the state’s presence in neighborhoods and districts. These measures reflect the legitimate government’s commitment to securing liberated areas and achieving stability.

Colonel Nabil Al-Kudahi, Assistant Director of Security for Security Affairs, stated that this campaign forms part of a comprehensive security plan aimed at intensifying the security presence in various regions. Furthermore, Captain Ibrahim Al-Naaman, the campaign leader, stressed the importance of continuing to execute security tasks with determination.
