Israeli occupation forces and settlers have intensified their violations against Palestinians in various areas of the occupied West Bank. This new wave of aggression includes arrests, home demolitions, and extensive attacks on agricultural lands.
Israeli forces arrested a Palestinian at the Zaim checkpoint east of occupied Jerusalem. Another individual was detained in the village of Rummana west of Jenin after soldiers raided and searched his home. Additionally, Israeli forces conducted raids in the towns of Turmus’ayya, Tuqu’, Ramin, Abwein, Jaljulia, Ajul, and Beit Fajjar. Military vehicles and infantry units spread through the streets, deploying flashbangs, tear gas, and sound grenades. They stopped Palestinians, searched their vehicles, and scrutinized their identities.
In a related incident, settlers, under the protection of Israeli forces, invaded the outskirts of the towns of Burqa and al-Mughayer. They grazed their sheep on Palestinian lands and near homes, causing damage to crops and olive trees.
In occupied Jerusalem, the municipality forced a Palestinian to demolish his own home in the neighborhood of Jabal Mukaber, citing unauthorized construction as the reason. This act reflects the ongoing demolition policy targeting Palestinians in the city.
The occupied West Bank is witnessing a continuous escalation in raids, arrests, home demolitions, and the establishment of military checkpoints. In northern areas, over 33,000 Palestinians remain forcibly displaced from the Jenin, Tulkarm, and Nur Shams refugee camps since early 2025. This situation has raised UN warnings about the expanding scope of displacement and the worsening humanitarian conditions.
The situation in the West Bank remains critical as Israeli forces and settlers continue their aggressive actions against the Palestinian population, exacerbating an already dire humanitarian crisis.
