Fourth Reserve Brigade Launches 2025 Training Year with Military Parade

On Wednesday, the Fourth Reserve Brigade, stationed in the conflict-ridden province of Al-Dhale’e, officially commenced its 2025 training and combat year. This event featured a military parade and the graduation of five specialized cohorts.

Military Parade Showcases Readiness

The military parade showcased symbolic battalions from the brigade, highlighting the combat readiness, advanced training skills, and high levels of discipline among its personnel. According to the army’s official website, “September Net,” the event underscored the brigade’s preparedness for upcoming challenges.

Emphasis on Training and Readiness

During the opening ceremony, Colonel Abdul Salam Al-Qahtani, the brigade’s chief of staff, delivered a speech emphasizing the critical importance of ongoing training. He stated that continued preparation serves as the cornerstone for fulfilling the aspirations of the people. Al-Qahtani reiterated that this training year aims to achieve victory and restore state authority while liberating the nation from the oppression of Iran-backed Houthi militias.

Hope for Displaced and Oppressed Citizens

Al-Qahtani pointed out that millions of displaced individuals and thousands of families affected by the conflict look to the armed forces as a beacon of hope for restoring state institutions that have been seized since the Houthi coup. He expressed gratitude to the leadership, officers, non-commissioned officers, and soldiers of the Fourth Reserve Brigade for their high level of military discipline and combat readiness.

Acknowledgment of Training Achievements

The brigade’s training officer, Major Mohammed Al-Sarati, presented a review of the achievements from the previous training year, 2024. He highlighted the successful completion of various internal and external leadership and specialized combat skills courses. Additionally, he noted the development of training plans and the successful execution of field exercises.

Goals for the New Training Year

Looking ahead to the new training year, Major Al-Sarati emphasized the brigade’s commitment to hard work, ambition, and larger objectives. The focus will be on enhancing training standards through updated plans, intensified field exercises, and improving the skills of officers, non-commissioned officers, and soldiers. He also mentioned the importance of leadership skills for making swift and effective decisions during crises, alongside the introduction of refresher courses and combat skills training.

Conclusion and Equipment Showcase

The event concluded with a display of various brigade weapons, accompanied by explanations of their features and technical specifications. This showcase not only highlighted the brigade’s capabilities but also reinforced its commitment to maintaining a high state of readiness.

The Fourth Reserve Brigade’s proactive approach in 2025 reflects its dedication to restoring security and stability in the region, as it prepares to face ongoing challenges.
