A military meeting took place today in Aden, the temporary capital of Yemen, led by Major General Ahmed Al-Basri, Deputy Chief of Staff. The meeting aimed to implement directives from President Rashad Mohammed Al-Alimi, the Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces, and Abdulrahman Sheikh, the Minister of State and Governor of Aden. The primary focus was on accelerating measures to strengthen security in the city.

Strategies for Securing Aden

The discussions centered on strategies to secure Aden by increasing the presence of security forces and military police units. Under the supervision of the National Shield Forces and the Giants Brigade, the meeting emphasized the importance of establishing security and stability while maintaining the city’s civilian character.

The meeting included military leaders from various formations in Aden and Major General Saleh Hassan, head of the Joint Operations Authority at the Ministry of Defense. They reviewed plans to relocate military units to camps outside the city.
