Today, in Al-Ghaydah, Governor of Al-Mahra, Mohammed Ali Yasser, welcomed Saadia Yasin Haji Nimer, the First Deputy Speaker of the Somali Parliament. This visit marks a significant moment for both regions, as it highlights the strong ties between Yemen and Somalia.
The meeting included key local officials, such as the Secretary-General of the Al-Mahra Local Council, Salem Abdullah Nimer, Sheikh Mohammed Abdullah Kida, and Khadija Mohammed Bakrit, the Deputy for Women’s Affairs. Governor Yasser expressed his delight at hosting Deputy Speaker Nimer, who is accompanied by Bashir Hassan Al-Afrar, the Somali Ambassador to Oman.
