Yemen Mourns the Loss of Esteemed Ambassador to Indonesia

A Diplomatic Stalwart Passes Away

In a solemn announcement, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, along with its domestic and international staff, mourns the passing of Dr. Abdulghani Nasr Al-Shamiri, the Yemeni Ambassador to Indonesia. Dr. Al-Shamiri died today at MMC Hospital in Jakarta, Indonesia, after dedicating his life to serving his nation with distinction.

The Ministry, in a statement shared with the Yemeni News Agency (SABA), highlighted Dr. Al-Shamiri’s illustrious career. His roles spanned being the Ambassador of Yemen to Indonesia, holding significant positions within the Presidential Office and the Ministry of Information, and contributing to the realms of broadcasting and television. Dr. Al-Shamiri’s career was marked by a series of national responsibilities, underscoring his status as a prominent diplomatic, political, and media figure whose contributions have left an indelible mark on the nation.
