In a significant meeting held in Aden, the temporary capital, Major General Ahmad Al-Basr Salem, the Deputy Chief of the General Staff, convened with deputies of the chiefs of staff and directors of the Ministry of Defense departments. At the outset of the meeting, Major General Al-Basr conveyed the greetings of the General Staff’s leadership to the attendees, emphasizing the critical need to lay the necessary foundations for the development and modernization of the armed forces to keep pace with contemporary technological advancements.
Major General Al-Basr also highlighted the support of the Minister of Defense, Major General Mohsen Al-Daeri, for all military units and formations to maintain the highest levels of efficiency and combat readiness.
He pointed out the military leadership’s commitment to enhancing the skill level and physical fitness of the armed forces through continuous training and high morale. This ensures their constant vigilance and combat readiness to execute any assigned missions.
