Minister of Defense Conducts Field Visit to Military Frontlines

Today, Minister of Defense, Lieutenant General Dr. Mohsen Al-Dhaeri, undertook a field visit to the military fronts in the Fifth Military Region. His tour included the districts of Midi, Haran, Haradh, and the Bani Hassan area in the Abs district of Hajjah Governorate.

Accompanied by Key Officials

The minister was joined by Hajjah Governor Major General Abdul Karim Al-Sanini and Commander of the Fifth Military Region Major General Yahya Salah. Together, they assessed the conditions of the soldiers stationed at the frontlines and acknowledged their bravery in confronting attacks from the Iran-backed Houthi militias.

High Morale Among Armed Forces

Lieutenant General Al-Dhaeri praised the discipline, readiness, and high morale of the armed forces. He emphasized that this fighting spirit represents a firm rejection of the return to a feudal past and a strong commitment to defending the nation, the republic, and national achievements.

Appreciation for Coalition Support

The Minister of Defense also expressed gratitude for the supportive stance of the coalition led by Saudi Arabia. He acknowledged the assistance provided to Yemen and its armed forces across various fronts.

Inspection of Naval Readiness

The visit included an inspection of the naval formation in Midi, which encompassed the Midi port and several islands within the operational scope of the Fifth Military Region.

Key Officials in Attendance

Accompanying the minister during this visit was Major General Abdulaziz Al-Faqih, Chief of the Logistics Support Authority.

This visit underscores the ongoing commitment of Yemen’s leadership to bolster military readiness and maintain national security amidst ongoing challenges.
