Othman Majali Visits Joint Forces Command to Strengthen Support for Legitimacy in Yemen

 

Introduction of the Visit

On Tuesday, Othman Majali, a member of the Presidential Leadership Council, visited the Joint Forces Command of the Coalition to Support Legitimacy and Restore Hope in Yemen. During his visit, he conveyed greetings from Dr. Rashad Mohammed Al-Alimi, the President of the Presidential Leadership Council, and his fellow council members to their counterparts in the Joint Forces Command.

Reception by Military Leadership

Majali received a warm welcome from Lieutenant General Fahd bin Hamad Al-Sulami, the commander of the Joint Forces, along with several other leaders and officers. This reception underscored the collaborative spirit and mutual respect between the council and the military leadership.

Strategic Insights and Support for Yemen

During the visit, Majali listened to a detailed briefing on the strategic and defense plans undertaken by the Joint Forces Command. These efforts align with the noble directives of King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Crown Prince and Prime Minister Mohammed bin Salman, and Minister of Defense Prince Khalid bin Salman. Their commitment focuses on achieving peace for Yemen and supporting the Yemeni government.

Acknowledgment of Saudi Contributions

Majali praised the high level of efficiency, capabilities, and strategic plans implemented by the Joint Forces Command. He emphasized their role in combating terrorism and eliminating its sources while pursuing destructive elements. He acknowledged that the Yemeni people, the Presidential Leadership Council, and the armed forces recognize Saudi Arabia’s significant contributions to enhancing security and stability in liberated provinces. The coalition’s ongoing support, led by Saudi Arabia and actively participated in by the United Arab Emirates, plays a crucial role in this effort.

Commitment to Peace and Development

In response, Lieutenant General Fahd bin Hamad Al-Sulami expressed gratitude for the visit. He highlighted that the Joint Forces Command continuously strives to develop ideas and plans that meet the aspirations of the Yemeni people. Their goal is to achieve peace, restore stability, and foster Yemen’s development and growth.

 

The visit by Othman Majali signifies the ongoing collaboration between the Presidential Leadership Council and the Joint Forces Command, reinforcing their shared commitment to peace and stability in Yemen. As they work together, both entities remain focused on restoring hope and building a brighter future for the Yemeni people.
