The Leadership and Staff College in Marib has successfully wrapped up its external command centers project, focusing on offensive maneuvers from deep within enemy territory. This initiative, executed by the participants of the 17th course, took place from October 26 to 30.
During the closing ceremony, Major General Khaled Al-Ashoul, Chief of Operations, conveyed greetings from the Ministry of Defense’s leadership. He praised the project’s success and the students’ dedication to both academic and practical applications. Al-Ashoul emphasized the significance of such projects in managing the ongoing battle against the Houthi militia.
Brigadier General Faisal Shezar, Deputy Director of the Higher Military Academy, commended the high standards demonstrated by the students. Meanwhile, Colonel Sufyan Abdulrahim, Director of the college, expressed pride in their discipline and leadership skills. He noted that the project underwent specialized evaluation to ensure the highest levels of competency.
The event concluded with an analytical conference that reviewed the tactical concept of the project. Participants discussed the evaluation provided by the judging panel and shared feedback from the students.
