Al-Sadd Sports Club has emerged as the champion of the Marib Governorate’s Third Division Football League. The club secured this title during the preliminary qualifiers organized by the Yemen Football Federation’s local branch, under the supervision of the Youth and Sports Office. Al-Sadd clinched victory against Al-Watan Club with a score of 2-1, marking a thrilling conclusion to the tournament.
Celebration of Achievement
The official presentation of the championship trophy took place in a ceremony attended by several dignitaries. Among those present were Ali Al-Fatimi, the Deputy Governor of Marib, along with Ali Hashwan, the Director General of the Youth and Sports Office, and Nasr Al-Ahmadi, the Director General of International Cooperation at the Ministry of Youth and Sports. Additionally, Mohammed Saleh Bin Jalal, the Director General of Marib City, participated in the celebration.
During the ceremony, Deputy Governor Al-Fatimi congratulated Al-Sadd Sports Club on their remarkable achievement. He expressed his hopes for the club’s continued success in representing the governorate honorably in the upcoming final qualifiers for the national Third Division League.
