Aden police apprehend suspects and warn against sharing sensitive security information.

Police in Aden Arrest Suspects in Security Operation

On Wednesday, the Aden Police announced the arrest of several suspects during an extensive security campaign conducted by emergency and security support forces across various districts of the capital. This operation targeted activities that could disrupt security and stability, including the dissemination of prohibited content that security agencies warned against photographing or circulating.

The Aden Police stated in a press release that these arrests followed surveillance, monitoring, and security investigations based on reports from citizens. These reports helped identify and locate several suspects, leading to legal actions against them.

Strict Warnings Against Sharing Security Information

The police emphasized that they will not tolerate any behavior that exploits the security situation to create public disorder or to share images and information that reveal the nature of security and military movements. Such actions could endanger the lives of citizens and security forces. Investigations with the arrested individuals are still ongoing.

The Aden Police reiterated its warning to citizens and activists against photographing, sharing, or circulating any images or information related to security and military movements. They stressed that violating these instructions could be exploited by hostile entities, jeopardizing the safety of both forces and civilians.

Warning Against Random Gunfire

In this context, the Aden Police cautioned against random gunfire when suspecting the presence of drones or flying objects. They confirmed that handling such situations falls under the jurisdiction of the relevant security and military authorities. Citizens are encouraged to report incidents via the number 199 and to leave the management of these situations to the appropriate agencies.

Ministry of Interior Reiterates Instructions

The Ministry of Interior renewed its call for individuals not to photograph or share any sensitive information regarding military, security, and civilian sites, including the locations of troop deployments and their movements or operations against missiles and drones. They affirmed that violating these directives could lead to legal accountability.

The ministry highlighted the importance of relying on official sources and avoiding the circulation of unverified information. They stressed the role of community responsibility in protecting sensitive information and enhancing public security.
