A Palestinian youth died today from injuries sustained during an Israeli airstrike targeting Khan Younis, located in the southern Gaza Strip. This incident coincided with ongoing artillery and naval bombardments across various areas of the region.
Medical sources confirmed that the youth succumbed to his injuries from an Israeli attack on the Japanese neighborhood in northwestern Khan Younis, which occurred yesterday, Monday.
In related developments, Israeli artillery shelled areas south of Khan Younis. Additionally, naval vessels fired several shells towards the city’s coastline.
A ceasefire agreement between Hamas and Israel took effect in October of last year. However, Israeli forces continue to breach this agreement through airstrikes, artillery fire, and gunfire targeting various locations in the Gaza Strip.
