Government Source Condemns Ongoing Media Campaigns

A senior government official has expressed strong disapproval of the ongoing media campaigns aimed at distorting public awareness and misleading the general populace. These campaigns include unfounded claims of discord among leadership levels and the fabrication of false news, particularly regarding alleged conflicts between the President of the Presidential Leadership Council and the Prime Minister.

False Claims Addressed

In a statement to the Yemeni News Agency (Saba), the official emphasized that these allegations lack any basis in reality. The government previously refuted these claims on the official Prime Minister’s website. The official reiterated that the war against the Houthi militia continues on multiple fronts, including a parallel media war waged by the militia alongside its economic aggression. This strategy seeks to undermine the unity and cohesion of the national front.

Commitment to the Constitution

The official reaffirmed the Prime Minister’s commitment to the constitution and the power transfer decision, which outlines the relationship between various authorities. The Prime Minister’s office has no side battles against any legitimate components or leadership levels. Its sole focus remains the fight against the Houthi terrorist militia, which is driving the current media attacks. The official pointed out that the Yemeni struggle is clear: it targets the Houthi militia, with no side conflicts that could detract from this existential battle for Yemenis and Arabs alike against the Iranian-backed sectarian agenda.

Focus on National Recovery

The official stated, “The only battle for the Prime Minister’s office is against the Houthi terrorist militia. We will not be distracted by targeted and funded media campaigns. Our attention will remain solely on the fight to restore the state and end the coup.” The government aims to address institutional reforms, combat corruption, face economic challenges, and improve the living standards of Yemeni citizens. This effort relies on divine support, the backing of the Presidential Leadership Council, and the will of the Yemeni people, who aspire to rectify the current situation.

Call for Media Responsibility

The official underscored the strength and unity of the national front and urged all media outlets to exercise caution. They should refrain from falling prey to lies and incitement that threaten national unity.

In summary, the government remains focused on its primary objective: defeating the Houthi militia and restoring stability in Yemen.
