Yemen Participates in Expo 2025 Opening Ceremony in Osaka

The Republic of Yemen participated today in the opening ceremony of Expo 2025, held in Osaka, Kansai, Japan. The Yemeni delegation was led by Minister of Industry and Trade, Mohammed Al-Ashwal.

Japanese Emperor Highlights the Significance of Expo 2025

During the ceremony, Japanese Emperor Naruhito expressed his delight at hosting the expo in Osaka. He emphasized that the event represents a unique opportunity to design a future-oriented society and foster sustainable development. The Emperor also reflected on the first World Expo held in Asia in 1970, which took place in the same city. He hopes that Expo 2025 will deepen the understanding of emerging generations about different countries and cultures worldwide, while also enhancing efforts to achieve sustainable development goals.
