World Muslim League Welcomes Extraordinary Arab Summit Decisions on Palestine

The World Muslim League has expressed strong support for the resolutions made during the extraordinary Arab summit, often referred to as the “Palestine Summit,” held in Cairo.
Full Support for Palestinian Rights
In a statement from the League’s General Secretariat, Secretary-General and President of the Muslim Scholars Association, Sheikh Dr. Mohammed bin Abdulkarim Al-Issa, affirmed the League’s complete endorsement of the summit’s decisions. These resolutions aim to safeguard the rights of the Palestinian people, ensuring their freedom, dignity, and independence. Furthermore, they seek to deter the Israeli occupation government from its brutal practices and ongoing violations of international law regarding the Palestinian issue.
Firm Rejection of Displacement
Sheikh Al-Issa emphasized the summit’s unequivocal rejection of any form of displacement of the Palestinian people from their land. He stated that this rejection applies under any name, circumstance, justification, or claim, including attempts to annex any part of the occupied Palestinian territories.
Prioritizing Ceasefire Agreements
The Secretary-General highlighted the summit’s call for the urgent implementation of the ceasefire agreement’s second and third phases. He also reiterated the importance of supporting international coalition efforts to realize a two-state solution, with the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia leading the Arab Islamic Joint Committee.
Addressing Regional Conflicts
Additionally, Sheikh Al-Issa noted the summit’s emphasis on the necessity of applying the ceasefire agreement in Lebanon. He condemned the Israeli attacks on the Syrian Arab Republic and prayed for the success of these Arab efforts in protecting the Palestinian people, advocating for their cause, and achieving comprehensive and just peace in line with the Arab Peace Initiative.
The World Muslim League remains committed to supporting the Palestinian cause and promoting peace in the region.
