Prime Minister: “Fajr Yemen” Operation Progresses Steadily Towards Restoring State Institutions and Securing Bab al-Mandab
Prime Minister Dr. Sha’if Mohsen Al-Zandani confirmed that the “Fajr Yemen” operation advances steadily towards achieving its national objectives. He noted the ongoing field progress of the Southern Giants Brigades and the National Shield Forces, supported by the Coalition for Supporting Legitimacy led by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. This effort aims to establish full control over Bab al-Mandab and Dhobab while securing the Khaboub Mountains, following their liberation from the grip of the Iranian-backed Houthi militia.
Victories Reflect Yemeni Resolve
In a statement published on his account on the “X” platform, the Prime Minister emphasized that these victories embody the will of the Yemeni people to end the coup and restore their state institutions. He affirmed that the sacrifices of the armed forces and the resilience of the Yemeni people form the cornerstone of the battle to restore the state and establish security and stability across the nation.
Houthi Attacks on Civilians
Dr. Al-Zandani added that the continued targeting of civilians and civilian facilities by the Houthi militia, including the recent attack on Aden International Airport, alongside the assaults and violations in Taiz Governorate, reveals a strategy rooted in violence and terrorism. This approach aims to harm the nation’s resources in a desperate attempt to break the will of the Yemeni people and deter them from continuing their struggle for freedom, dignity, and the establishment of a state governed by law.
Commitment to National Sovereignty
The Prime Minister pointed out that the significant sacrifices made by the armed forces and the heroism displayed by the popular resistance in Taiz and other governorates illustrate the Yemeni people’s commitment to reclaiming their state, protecting their land, and preserving their national sovereignty. He asserted that attempts to impose the Houthi project linked to the Iranian regime will not undermine the people’s determination to restore their national institutions.
Appreciation for Sacrifices
Dr. Al-Zandani reiterated the government’s appreciation for the sacrifices made by the armed forces and the popular resistance. He expressed pride in the positions of the brothers in the Coalition for Supporting Legitimacy led by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, who support Yemen in its battle to restore the state and safeguard its security and stability.
Honoring Martyrs and Wishing Recovery for the Wounded
The Prime Minister paid tribute to the souls of the noble martyrs and wished for the swift recovery of the wounded. He affirmed that the sacrifices of the Yemeni people will remain present in the journey to restore the state and achieve the aspirations of the people for security, stability, and a dignified life.
