The coalition forces, known as the “Coalition to Support Legitimacy in Yemen,” announced a military operation executed by the naval forces in Al Hudaydah. This operation targeted legitimate objectives associated with the Houthi terrorist militias, which receive support from the Iranian regime.
Foiling Imminent Attacks
The official spokesperson for the coalition forces, Major General Turki Al-Maliki, stated in posts on his account on the platform X that they thwarted plans for imminent attacks aimed at maritime routes in the southern Red Sea. He added that the operation involved the destruction of legitimate military targets belonging to the Houthi terrorist militias, including the destruction of weapon storage facilities, warehouses for explosive-laden boats, and naval mines.

Al-Maliki clarified that this operation aligns with the coalition’s objectives to safeguard maritime security in the Bab el-Mandeb Strait.
