Israeli Forces Conduct Airborne Operation in Yatta

This morning, Israeli occupation forces executed an airborne operation involving several soldiers while simultaneously storming the city of Yatta in the southern Hebron governorate. Reports indicate that other areas in the West Bank also experienced extensive military raids, arrests, and a significant military presence.

Local sources reported that the occupation forces invaded the Fattouh area in Yatta with a large number of troops, coinciding with the airborne operation. The incursion continues as of this moment.

In a related development, settlers transported construction equipment to the colonial outpost established on citizens’ land in Khillat al-Hummus, south of Yatta, aiming to carry out new expansion work.

Hebron and Nablus: Arrests and Military Presence

In Hebron, occupation forces arrested several Palestinians and detained others during a raid in the southern region. They conducted searches of homes and businesses on Al-Ikhwa Street and carried out field investigations with dozens of detainees.

In Nablus, occupation forces stormed the city from the Awarta and 17 checkpoints, deploying several armored vehicles. They spread through Asira Street and the vicinity of Al-Quds Open University, as well as the Austrian Housing area west of the city. Additionally, a foot patrol invaded the Al-Dahiya neighborhood in eastern Nablus, while another unit entered Balata al-Balad and fired sound bombs during a raid near the Quran Academy.

Later, armored vehicles invaded the northern Asira village, while other forces entered the town of Awarta amid military deployments in several areas.

Northern Jordan Valley: Settler Presence

In the northern Jordan Valley, local sources reported the presence of settlers near citizens’ homes in the Naba’ Ghazal area. Immediate information regarding the nature of this presence remains unavailable.

Cities, towns, and refugee camps in the occupied West Bank and Jerusalem experience daily raids and incursions carried out by occupation forces, which include arrests, clashes, and the use of live and rubber bullets, as well as tear gas canisters.
