Prime Minister Expresses Condolences for Two Prominent Figures
Dr. Shaya Mohsen Al-Zandani, the Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs, has sent heartfelt condolences following the passing of two distinguished members of the Shura Council.
In a poignant message, Dr. Al-Zandani expressed his sorrow over the death of Sheikh Qassem Al-Mashdali, a dedicated member of the Shura Council. Sheikh Al-Mashdali passed away after a life devoted to serving his country, the people, and the republican system.
A Tribute to Sheikh Qassem Al-Mashdali
In his condolence message directed to the late Sheikh’s son, Salman Qassem Al-Mashdali, and his siblings, the Prime Minister conveyed his deep sadness and sincere sympathies. He highlighted the late Sheikh’s honorable contributions, steadfast positions, and significant sacrifices in resisting the Imamate project and defending the republican system.
Remembering Former Minister Faisal Al-Qatibi
Additionally, Dr. Al-Zandani extended his condolences for the passing of Faisal Al-Qatibi, another esteemed member of the Shura Council, former parliamentarian, and minister. The Prime Minister praised Al-Qatibi’s dedication and commitment during his tenure in various leadership roles, including his memberships in both the House of Representatives and the Cabinet.

Both condolence messages underscored the national, charitable, and social contributions of the deceased. They emphasized that the nation has lost two prominent figures whose legacies will be remembered.
