Mareb, Yemen – Today, Minister of Defense Lieutenant General Taher Al-Aqeeli visited the Higher Military Academy (Command and Staff College) in Mareb to assess the current state of educational and training operations.
Celebrating Educational Resumption
During a comprehensive meeting, Minister Al-Aqeeli congratulated the academy’s leadership and staff on the resumption of educational activities after a decade-long hiatus caused by the Houthi militia’s coup. He also celebrated the successful graduation of the 17th Command and Staff Course, which produced 206 officers from both Mareb and Aden campuses. This achievement marks a significant milestone in the development of Yemen’s military institution.
