Saeed Ahmed Al-Khanbashi, a member of the Presidential Leadership Council and Governor of Hadhramaut, highlighted the local government’s commitment to vocational education and training. During a recent meeting with Dr. Saeed Bajaber, the Director of the Technical Education and Vocational Training Office in Coastal Hadhramaut, Al-Khanbashi reviewed the current state of educational and training processes. He assessed the performance levels at technical and vocational institutes and monitored the implementation of a development plan for vocational education. This plan includes updates to the “Refrigeration and Air Conditioning” specialization and the launch of the second phase for developing the “Renewable Energy” department at the Industrial Technical Institute, in partnership with the Al-Awn Foundation for Development.

Al-Khanbashi reiterated the local authority’s support for advancing vocational education and training. He emphasized the need to address challenges faced by technical and vocational institutes.
