Governor Discusses Final Stages of "Master Plan" Project in Al-Mokha
Today, Governor Nabil Shamsan of Taiz Province met with the advisory committee for the "Master Plan" project in Al-Mokha. The meeting focused on the final stages of the project, including recent observations and suggestions to prepare for detailed planning.

The meeting included key figures such as Deputy Governor Engineer Rashad Al-Akhali, Director of Al-Mokha District Mahmoud Sultan, and Al-Mokha Port Director Engineer Abdul Malik Al-Sharabi. During the session, Governor Shamsan listened to the committee’s explanations regarding the planning phases, as well as the challenges and difficulties encountered during the project’s implementation. The committee also provided a comprehensive overview of the plan’s components, which encompass industrial, investment, and service areas, including the port and international airport zones.
Strategic Importance of the Project
Governor Shamsan praised the efforts of the advisory committee in collaboration with the executing company. He emphasized that the "Master Plan" project represents a strategic step toward preparing Al-Mokha and its surrounding areas for a promising developmental future. The project holds significant economic and developmental importance. He also acknowledged the support of Presidential Leadership Council member, Brigadier General Tariq Saleh, for strategic projects in the province.
Call for Swift Action on Detailed Plans
In conclusion, the governor directed the General Authority for Lands, Surveys, and Urban Planning to coordinate with the executing company. He urged them to expedite the completion of detailed plans and neighborhood units in the coming days. This initiative aims to transform Al-Mokha into an economic, investment, and tourism hub, positioning it as the developmental and future-facing center of the province.
